Emergency Services
We have an experienced and qualified team of veterinary surgeons and nurses.
We’ll assess your pet and offer the best medical advice and treatment, either as an outpatient, or in more serious cases within our hospital, which has an intensive care unit and room to monitor pets in critical condition.
Surgery
Our team of vets and nurses are trained and experienced dealing with many frequently encountered emergency surgeries and situations. Our clinic has recently completed an extensive renovation so we can provide the very best care for all patients. We have a well-equipped surgery with comprehensive anaesthesia and multi-faceted monitoring equipment.
Blood Bank
We maintain fresh stocks of canine plasma and red blood to treat emergencies, such as road traffic accidents, rat bait toxicity and cases that may need blood transfusions. We also offer blood typing for continuous care.
Diagnostic Laboratory
A large range of both blood tests and urine analysis are available onsite, providing emergency diagnostics when required.
Radiology
Our clinic benefits from a modern computerised digital machine that produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs. The use of digital equipment allows for fast and accurate interpretation and can be easily shared with your pet’s regular veterinary clinic.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a specialist form of treatment that combines the medicinal benefits of 100% oxygen and increased atmospheric pressure. Using the hyperbaric oxygen treatment, oxygen is dissolved in the plasma, CNS fluid and lymph nodes of the patient, rather than being transported through the body by red blood cells alone. This oxygen is infused into areas of compromised blood supply, aiding the reduction of swelling, killing bacteria and allowing the body to support its own healing process.
Intensive and Critical Care
Critically ill and post-operative patients can be referred to us for high dependency monitoring and overnight care. We work closely with day clinics providing them with support and cohesive care for their patients. Oxygen therapy is provided for animals in need of supportive breathing and all patients are monitored by an experienced team of professionals.
